About us
Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connect individuals to programs, services and community. CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
Community Work and Partnerships is one of four service delivery streams within CCS. We are responsible for the development of mutually beneficial partnerships with government agencies and non-government organisations so that individuals can undertake unpaid work as part of their community-based sentence imposed by the Courts of Victoria.
About the role:
As the Supervisor, you will lead a team of Community Work Officers, Community Work Development Officers, Leading Field Officers and Field Officers. You will also work closely with the community to establish partnerships that promote opportunities for individuals to participate in meaningful work that promotes rehabilitation and enhances community safety.
We are recruiting for two positions – one primarily based in Derrimut (West) until 4/01/2027, and one primarily based in Coolaroo (North) until 29/02/2026. If at Coolaroo, this will only be temporary whilst a new permanent location is arranged for the Community Work team in the North Metro region. Regardless of primary location, travel to other locations across the North West Metro region may be required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
This is your opportunity to make your mark in CCS and the broader communities of the region by demonstrating your leadership skills and ability to develop valued community partnerships.
