About the Role:
This is a Fixed Term, full-time placement position at 76 hours per fortnight within the Pharmacy Department.
You will be responsible for and gain hands-on exposure to hospital pharmacy practice through participation in clinical, operational, and research pharmacy activities under the supervision of experienced pharmacy professionals. You will contribute to a range of departmental initiatives while developing your knowledge of medication management, patient care, and the role of pharmacists within a tertiary paediatric healthcare setting.
Internally, this position may also be known and/or referred to as: Summer Student Placement Pharmacist, or Summer Pharmacy Student Placement.
Classification for this position is in accordance with Award 12 - Pharmacists.
Classified at RQ9 (Pharmacy Student), FTE base salary $55,390.40 per annum, plus superannuation.

About the Department:
The Pharmacy Department is a team of around 70 staff including pharmacists, technicians, and administrators. Our supportive and collaborative teams include Outpatients, Children’s Cancer Centre, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical trials, and Medicines Information, HiTH and Sterile Services and the Pharmacy Business Unit.
