This role is a fixed term position until February 2027.
About the Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
Goulburn SSS Position: Social Work
The Department of Education is looking for skilled and driven Social Workers to contribute to the important work of our SSS teams supporting schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.

Our Goulburn SSS Program is a multidisciplinary team that thrives on collaborative innovative practice, sharing expertise and working alongside each other in the best interests of our students. We support whole program engagement and discipline specific peer supervision whilst also working alongside the Area's wider Health and Wellbeing workforces.

Required: A graduate or post-graduate qualification in Social Work, eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) a nd possess a current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check.
