The Opportunity:
The Student Wellbeing Department provides comprehensive counselling and welfare services to support the holistic health and welfare of students. This encompasses providing short term counselling sessions, crisis intervention and mental health support services across all Holmesglen campuses. The department coordinates welfare programs aimed at addressing students’ diverse needs, including financial assistance, housing support and food security initiatives; and access to bulk billed GP services in the Holmesglen Medical Centre.
Holmesglen’s Student Counsellor role offers a meaningful opportunity to provide high-quality counselling and welfare support to students across our campuses. Working within a team of counsellors, welfare officers and youth workers, you’ll help create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes psychological wellness and student success. This role contributes to the development and delivery of wellbeing programs, policies and initiatives - making it an ideal pathway for counselling professionals looking to apply their knowledge in a supportive educational setting.
