The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Strategic Advisor to provide a critical role within Metropolitan Remand Centre.
About the Business Unit
Metropolitan Remand Centre (MRC) is a 954-bed maximum-security facility for unsentenced male individuals located within the West Metropolitan Region. The facility includes three mainstream accommodation units, two protection units, two management units, and several spaces for those who require additional supports such as vulnerable prisoners, prisoners at risk.
About the Role
The Strategic Advisor will provide high level advice and support to the General Manager, Metropolitan Remand Centre. They will be responsible for the analysis, identification, interpretation and recommendations for identified issues, complex project work and related tasks on behalf of the General Manager. The role will also support the General Manager in the delivery of Corrections Victoria's reform agenda, aligned with the Vision and Mission.
