The Opportunity:
The Holmesglen Carpentry Department provides practical, hands-on training to prepare students for careers in carpentry. Our programs reflect current industry standards and give students real-world skills in a supportive learning environment. We guide students from the start of their training through to becoming fully qualified carpenters. Our focus is on practical experience, industry relevance, and helping students become confident, job-ready professionals.
The Storeperson supports the department by preparing, maintaining, and distributing materials and equipment for classroom use. This hands-on, varied role involves operating finger joining machinery, assisting with warehouse and production tasks, and maintaining stock levels. You will help ensure tools, equipment, and consumables are available, safe, and ready for use, while supporting smooth workshop operations and practical learning activities. The role combines practical workshop experience with general store duties, offering a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where both machinery skills and organisational abilities are valued.
