Heritage Victoria is a Division within Planning and Land Services, and is responsible for the administration of the Heritage Act 2017 which enables the identification, protection and management of Victoria's State significant heritage places and objects, historical archaeological sites and maritime heritage.

About the Role
The role is fixed term fulltime until 30 June 2026. The Statutory Support Officer, Approvals provides administrative support to assessments under the Heritage Act 2017 including permits and permit exemptions for State listed places and objects, archaeological consents and permits for maritime heritage. The position will provide systems and record keeping support to ensure that all statutory processes are completed within required timeframes
