We are seeking a State Manager, Regional Emergency Management. This newly created leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to unite and lead AV's new Regional Emergency Management team, building a high-performing function that drives emergency management capability and assurance across AV's regions, ensuring effective response and service continuity during planned and unplanned events.
This is a Full Time Permanent position based within Ambulance Victoria's Emergency Management Unit at our Lonsdale Street office in Melbourne. Flexible working arrangements are available; however, the successful applicant will be required to work from the Melbourne office and have ability to travel across metropolitan and regional Victoria to support this statewide leadership role.

Suited to an AHPRA registered and credentialled paramedic with extensive experience in ambulance or emergency service delivery, the successful applicant will possess:
Additionally, external applicants to AV will be required to complete criminal record checks, psychometric testing, medical and alcohol and drug testing and qualification, work history, registration and driving history confirmation in line with our curr ent paramedic selection process.

As a senior emergency management leadership role, the successful applicant will be required to be available outside ordinary working hours and undertake statewide travel to support emergency incidents, significant events and other time-critical operational requirements.

This position is classified as a Schedule B under the Ambulance Victoria (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2025.
