The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Staff Training Coordinator to provide a critical role at Ravenhall.
About the Business Unit
Metropolitan Remand Centre (MRC) is a maximum-security remand facility based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Prisoners on remand are alleged offenders who were not bailed when charged with a crime and are awaiting the outcome of their court case. The Metropolitan Remand Centre is a 954-bed maximum-security facility for unsentenced male offenders located within the West Metropolitan Region, Department of Justice, and Community Safety.
About the Role
The Staff Training Coordinator will have responsibility for providing a range of training and training coordination activities to MRC staff. The position involves the collation and management of staff training records from both a staff development and from a compliance perspective. The Staff Training Coordinator will work with staff to identify learning opportunities that meet individual and organisational needs as part of the staff member's Performance Plan and will assist the Staff Development Manager in ensuring that Performance Plans are completed and assessed within specified timelines.
