Student Support Services help children and young people overcome learning barriers and reach their full potential. Staff collaborate with schools, students and families to improve learning, engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion through targeted strategies and specialised support. They build teacher capability, guide principals on wellbeing and learning approaches, and manage assessments and interventions for complex cases. Working in multidisciplinary Area-based teams — including psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers and/or occupational therapists — they support individuals, groups and school communities.

Job Location: This position is based in the Hume Merri-bek Area. There is a requirement to travel and undertake work in schools as part of service delivery. SSS staff have access to departmental fleet vehicles.
