VISION
Our vision is to foster excellence in learning and positive relationships, laying the foundation for lifelong success. We aim to empower students to become adaptable, creative, and responsible global citizens who thrive in an ever-evolving world.
We prepare students to navigate the dynamic challenges of the 21st century, where creativity, collaboration, global connectedness, and adaptability are key. Kananook Primary School is proud of its achievements in creating a warm, harmonious, and caring learning environment where students feel secure, happy, and highly motivated to learn.
We strive to make our school a place where every child is confident, with strong self-esteem, academic success, and positive social behaviour.
At Kananook Primary School, we embrace a "stage, not age" approach, ensuring that every child progresses based on their individual learning needs rather than year level alone. Every child is taught at their point of need, and our teachers ensure that students develop the knowledge, understanding, attitudes, creativity, and collaborative skills necessary to become lifelong learners.
VALUES
The school community has developed four school values, which underpin our relational learning philosophy. These values promote:
· Excellence - Achieving individual and team goals (Do Your Very Best)
· Responsibility - Being accountable for our words, actions, and learning (Be In Charge of Yourself)
· Tolerance - Respecting and appreciating diversity in all its forms (Recognising and Valuing Differences)
· Integrity - Acting with honesty, fairness, and consistency in all interactions (Be Honest, Fair, and Respectful)
PHYSICAL SCHOOL LOCATION
