Reservoir Views Primary School was established in 2009 following the merger of Keon Park Primary School and Burbank Primary School. Located in Reservoir, just 11 km north of Melbourne¿s CBD, our school provides a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.
Our modern buildings are purposefully designed to support collaborative teaching and learning. Flexible learning spaces allow teachers and students to work together or independently as required. Beyond the classroom, our extensive grounds offer rich opportunities for play and connection. Students enjoy active and passive play areas, a Vegetable Garden supported by our Garden to Plate program, and a sensory play space designed to promote inclusion, relaxation, and engagement. The school also features four playgrounds, a running track, a large sports field, and basketball and netball courts.
Our Vision is to provide excellent educational opportunities in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. We aim to instill a lifelong love of learning, celebrating both effort and achievement, with the belief that every student can thrive and go on to lead fulfilling lives.
Our school values, Courage, Curiosity, and Connection, form the foundation of our positive learning environment. Strong relationships between students, staff, and families are central to our culture, ensuring all members of our community feel supported, engaged, and connected. When students feel safe, challenged, and encouraged, they can aspire to be the best version of themselves.
Currently, 320 students are enrolled. Specialist programs are offered in Visual Art, Physical Education, Auslan, and Music.
We believe student success is strengthened through teacher collaboration and genuine partnerships with parents. All teachers work in teams to plan, teach, assess, and reflect together. Our flexible, open learning spaces further enhance collaboration and shared learning for both staff and students.
Reservoir Views Primary School proudly embraces diversity, reflecting the multicultural and socio-economic richness of our local community. A large proportion of our students come from language backgrounds other than English, and we actively foster inclusion and cultural understanding. Community connections are strengthened through events and programs such as our annual Welcome Picnic, Harmony Day, school concerts and performances, Learning Expos, English language classes for parents, and our Classroom Helpers Program.
We are committed to equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they will need for the future. Alongside a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, we encourage curiosity, creativity, and a deep understanding of the world around them.
