Western Heights College Specialist Sports Program has over 680 students currently within each of the four pillar sports; AFL, Basketball, Netball and Soccer. Within the AFL program, we have over 250 student-athletes from Year 7-12, with a rapidly evolving AFLW program ¿ the only one of it¿s kind in the Geelong Region.
The AFL Program is seeking a highly credentialed AFL or AFLW coach (or former AFL/AFLW player-coach) to lead, design and deliver high-level development coaching within the program.
The position will be responsible for developing our AFL/AFLW talent pathway program student-athletes, as well as improving the skill, ability, game sense and craft of our student-athletes that play club or local representative level.
The preferred candidate will also hold a teaching degree and have oversight of the teaching, learning, curriculum and assessment within the AFL Program from Year 7-12.
The role of classroom teacher may include but is not limited to:
Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
Individuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfil the specific requirements of the position.
