About the role:
Reporting to the Managing Principal Solicitor, Commercial Law, the Solicitor role will support the Commercial Law team within the Legal and Governance Branch.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers in the team to develop a broad set of commercial advisory skills. You will draft and review a variety of contracts and other legal documents including bespoke procurement agreements, funding agreements, service agreements, IP and IT agreements, licences, and bespoke commercial arrangements. You will be required to provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on a broad variety of commercial and corporate issues that arise in the health space. You will also be required to help manage pre-litigation disputes (such as IT disputes) and oversee employment matters.

About you:
Provide considered legal advice on contracts and other legal documentation, briefings and correspondence.
Learns relevant legislation, policies and standards and appropriate application in commercial arrangements.
Provides services on a range of issues, within time-frames agreed with clients and that accord to team's recommended time-frames.
Prepares routine legal documents regularly requiring the application of established precedent

Minimum of 2 years' post admission experience is preferred.
