THE ROLE
The Software Developer works collaboratively with a team of development specialists to maintain, enhance and document systems critical to the operations of the Social Services Regulator.
The Software Developer is a member of the Application Analysis, Design and Development team within the ICT and Business Intelligence branch. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of both the Working With Children and NDIS Worker Screening applications. The role will provide technical expertise across the whole Software Development Life Cycle to provide enhancements and fixes to the Working with Children and Worker Screening applications.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Your responsibilities will include:
Contribute to the development, configuration, and maintenance of the application according to given specifications, ensuring it meets operational requirements and legislative standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams and system architecture mapping.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
Act as a subject matter expert, providing sound technical advice to management regarding system capabilities and limitations.
