We are currently accepting applications for a Social Worker (Grade 2) to join our multi-disciplinary Mental Wellbeing team on fixed-term position to 30/06/2026. Interviews may begin prior to the end of the advertised period and the job may be removed early if a candidate is recruited.
Role Statement
This position is for an experienced social worker with the focus of providing services to community clients and may include some work with residential aged care residents and hospital in-patients, collectively known as consumers. The primary function of this position is to provide generalist social work support using focused mental health interventions for individuals or within groups. The role is to assist and support consumers, their families and support networks in response to physical, emotional and social factors that negatively impact on the consumer's health and wellbeing. The social work role also has a primary and secondary prevention component focused on averting the onset of poor mental and physical health and early intervention by addressing social and environmental determinants of health.
Details of Appointment:
Grade 2 Social Worker - Dependent on experience, as per award.
Fixed-term, part-time position until 30/06/2026, working 48 hours fortnight. Based at Clunes and Creswick, however to fulfil business operation requirements there may be a need to work at Daylesford or Trentham.
