This is an ongoing full-time position within the Student Support Services, Inner East Team, based in the Glen Waverley Regional Office.
As part of an area-based Health Wellbeing and Inclusion Workforce (HWIW) you will work collaboratively to help build the capability of schools to support student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing and support schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress towards their educational goals and developmental potential. SSS achieve this through the provision of a range of assessments, strategies, and specialised support at individual, group, and school levels.
As an AH3 Social Worker you will also be required to manage a varied caseload, undertake the health and wellbeing key contact function, respond to incidents within schools and contribute to capability building within schools.

Required: A graduate or post-graduate qualification in Social Work and eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), as well as a current Australian Drivers' Licence and a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
