Join the Parliament of Victoria as a Reporter, where you'll produce accurate records of parliamentary proceedings while leveraging your language expertise and adapting to evolving technologies.
About the role
Reporting to the Editor, this position is responsible for accurately transcribing and proofreading the proceedings of the Victorian Parliament, including committees and other forums, to support the publication of timely and accurate records in line with Hansard standards. The role also involves maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, staying informed on legislative and parliamentary procedures, and participating in ongoing training to remain proficient with current technologies and resources.
About you
You are a detail-oriented professional with excellent comprehension, analytical, and language skills, capable of delivering accurate and timely records of parliamentary proceedings. Your technical proficiency and strong interpersonal skills enable you to communicate effectively with stakeholders and adapt to evolving technologies and processes.
