The Video Conferencing Coordination Unit (VCCU) supports the work of the Sentence Management Division within Corrections Victoria and is responsible for the coordination of all video conferences/Audio Visual Links (AVL) where a prisoner is involved, including but not limited to: court appearances (TeleCourt), conferences with legal representatives and court ordered assessments.
About the Role:
Working closely with prison staff and senior stakeholders, including court registry staff and the legal profession, the Senior Video Conferencing Officer maintains oversight of the daily scheduling and management of prisoner video conferencing, management of issues and schedule amendments.
The VCCU operate on a nine-day per fortnight roster that adheres to current prison rostering principles and will require work between 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and 7am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
