About the Role
A fixed term, Senior Support Officer role currently exists within the Operational Communications team. Also referred to as the Senior Intelligence & Solutions Analyst within CFA, this role is responsible for the management and development of systems and processes that assist with the overall functionality of CFA's Operational Communications portfolio, including the design and development of computer programs that store and organise CFA's emergency response data and mapping used by the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) service provider Triple Zero Victoria and associated alerting systems.
This is a unique role, which will see you training and providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders to improve and enhance CFA's ability to meet operational and emergency response requirements. You will be involved in building partnerships with others from emergency service organisations to share knowledge, expertise and technology to support a safer Victoria.
