About Us:
Community Safety, Victims and Racing (CSVR) group is responsible for leading key policy reform and programs across the department. It enhances community safety and wellbeing through public policy, governance, legislative advice, reform and grants, bringing together all policy and reform functions aligned to the Police, Community Safety, Victims and Racing portfolios.
The Office of the Deputy Secretary (ODS) plays a key role across CSVR to support the Deputy Secretary to lead and manage the division, including management of the office workflow, supporting changes and new initiatives, and managing portfolio responses and projects. The Senior Strategic Advisor is responsible for the management of the ODS, acting as an integral conduit between the Deputy Secretary and the division.

The Senior Strategic Adviser role requires strategic planning skills, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate at a senior level.
