The Victorian Curriculum & Assessment Authority (VCAA) is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian students birth to 18 years.
The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Examinations unit develops and produces all VCE written examinations, including those for the Northern Hemisphere Timetable. The unit produces alternative format examinations, examination specifications, sample examination materials and examination reports.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Executive Management Division in the VCE Examinations Unit for an ongoing full-time position.
Role purpose
The role involves project managing the development and assessment of VCE examinations. Working closely with relevant Curriculum Managers and Assessment Operations staff as required, this role has overall responsibility for the examination specifications, development, and quality assessment for a range of VCE studies on the Victorian and/or Northern Hemisphere Academic timetables. It is critical in enabling the production of high-quality examinations that fairly assess the learning of students undertaking VCE or scored VCE Vocational education training (VET) Unit 3-4 studies.
