Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Security and Emergency Management Group
The Security and Emergency Management Group (SEMG) is responsible for providing authoritative and specialist security and emergency management services and advice to Victoria's courts and VCAT tribunals. SEMG works to ensure the security and safety of the people who work in and attend courts and tribunals and CSV's assets. SEMG is responsible for coordinating security and emergency management operations and business continuity practices, in line with legislative requirements, organisational policies, relevant standards and best practice.
About the role
The Senior Security Operations Adviser reports to the Assistant Director, Security Operations and works in a corporate team providing high level authoritative advice to jurisdictions ensuring CSV can protect judicial officers, staff and court users and its assets. A primary focus of this role will be to conduct security risks assessments of court and tribunal venues across Victoria to identify vulnerabilities, security gaps, and potential threats. Working collaboratively with other teams across CSV, this role will develop strategies and plans to mitigate these risks effectively.
