About the Role
The Senior School Finance Analyst will deliver high quality analysis of Victorian Government and Non-Government School financial data to ensure strong financial management and inform future policy and process development.
The role will contribute to the development, management and analysis of school funding and expenditure and provide expert advice to program areas and key stakeholders
This role will require strong knowledge of systems, data management, analytic practices which support financial management within the department and schools.

The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of school funding including the state budget process and the systems used within schools or similar large government sector environment.
They will have well developed technical data and analysis skills needed to use large data sets and develop solution focused analysis.
They will need strong problem-solving skills to support development of solutions to complex problems within the school financial management settings.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting or a related field.
Desirable: Expertise with analytical systems/tools i.e. Microsoft suite, Oracle Analytics, Student Resource Package.
