DEECA is seeking a Senior Safety Specialist – Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances (DGHS) to join our team of OHS professionals. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced on all things relating to the handling, storage and transportation of DGHS.
The role will need a high level to technical acumen to be able to provide DGHS safety advice and support to regional and metropolitan staff and other Safety and Wellbeing Advisors. The position will therefore require extensive engagement with stakeholders and technical experts to support continuous improvement opportunities for the department’s safety management system.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
