ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Senior Risk and Insurance Adviser is responsible for coordinating risk management across Museums Victoria, supporting risk owners, and building risk awareness, engagement and capability throughout the organisation. The role also manages insurance, insurable risk and claims.
This position is accountable for the effective delivery of risk and insurance management services to ensure Museums Victoria can proactively identify, manage and monitor risks, with a strong focus on continuous systems improvement.

This is a part-time (0.6 - 0.8 FTE) fixed-term position for 12 months. The salary on offer is VPS5.1, $113,022 increasing to $116,413 from 1 May 2026 per annum (pro rata), plus 12% superannuation.
The successful applicant is required to undergo a National Police Records Check and Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
