The opportunity

As the Senior Risk Business Partner, you'll partner with leaders across VicGrid to embed enterprise risk and resilience practices, provide strategic insights, and strengthen organisational capability in managing risk and responding to disruption.
You will work across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives and major infrastructure programs, helping ensure that risk management is practical, proactive and delivers meaningful outcomes.
What you will deliver
- Partner with senior leaders to strengthen the application of enterprise risk and resilience frameworks.
- Analyse emerging risks, trends and systemic issues to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate and support the internal audit program, including reporting and assurance activities.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and testing of Business Continuity and Critical Incident Management frameworks.
- Facilitate risk workshops, training and capability-building initiatives across the organisation.
- Drive a mature, collaborative and integrated approach to enterprise risk management.
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence positive outcomes.
What you will bring
- Experience in enterprise risk management, resilience, governance, internal audit or business continuity.
- A tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Business, Commerce, Governance, Public Policy, Law, Emergency Management or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CPRM, CIA or equivalent will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data and trends into meaningful insights.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation, infrastructure or reform programs.
