THE ROLE
The Senior Reporting Analyst:
- Develops and delivers regular and ad hoc reports on the department's service volumes and performance for internal and external audiences.
- Provides commentary and insights to support appropriate interpretation of performance results.
- Presents reports to a variety of audiences and provides support to increase awareness and understanding of available reports, data and information.
- Prepares responses to a range of ad hoc requests for data, including PPQs, media queries, questions on notice, PAEC briefs, etc.
The role requires a high level of coordination, stakeholder management and attention to detail. Applicants should possess strong skills in reporting and interpreting data to facilitate understanding of the implications and significance of results. Applicants should have strong written skills, an ability to apply knowledge of programs and services to data results, and an ability to juggle multiple deliverables under pressure.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Deliver high quality, technical, accurate reports at an advanced professional level, and provide authoritative advice on interpretation of results, trends, risks, and issues.
- Provide careful quality assurance and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy of data and reports.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of complex and technical reports to ensure they provide useful information that meets customer needs.
- Identify current and future reporting requirements and actively seek and follow through continuous improvement opportunities.
