About the role:
You’ll be responsible for taking a systems-level view of EPA’s regulatory performance, reviewing decision-making, identifying risks and trends, and providing clear, evidence-based insights to senior leaders to improve how EPA regulates and delivers outcomes.
In this role you will:
Lead risk-based reviews of regulatory operations and decision-making
Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities across EPA
Provide clear, evidence-based insights to senior leaders (CEO/SEC etc)
Influence decision-making through strong analysis and recommendations
Drive uplift in regulatory quality, governance and system performance
Skills and experience:
Strong experience in regulatory practice, ideally within a regulator or similar environment
Experience in assurance, audit, risk, compliance or quality functions (desirable)
Strong systems thinking, with the ability to assess processes, controls and performance end-to-end
Experience working with risk management frameworks, including controls and mitigation (desirable)
Strong analytical capability, with the ability to identify themes and provide clear insights
Confident communicator, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders
