About VIDA Health
VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
This role will play a lead role in supporting VIDA Health in implementing and maintaining efficient and effective records and document management systems and associated procedures that meet regulatory, corporate and best practice requirements. This role requires a strong ability to work independently in a complex project environment. The role requires strong communication skills to cultivate and engage VIDA Health stakeholders, promoting mature records management practices across VIDA Health.
Key aspects of the role include:
Own and oversee RMS access protocols to ensure they’re clear, correctly applied, and regularly reviewed for accuracy and compliance
Lead engaging training and guidance that builds a strong records management culture, while proactively driving system and process improvements.
Manage the records helpdesk operations to ensure fast, effective resolutions, analyse trends, and turn insights into continuous improvements across processes and user support.
We are looking for:
Expertise in digital literacy, cataloguing and metadata management capability in an enterprise records management system (Content Manager) and/or other modern applications.
Demonstrated expert knowledge and practical experience in applying records and information management principles, including all relevant legislation, such as the Public Records Act 1973 (Vic), and mandatory standards issued by the Public Record Office Victoria (PROV).
Ability to apply sharp judgement to resolve complex issues, interpreting existing guidelines or navigating ambiguity to find practical solutions. Using critical thinking to assess options, collaborate where needed, and drive the right outcome.
A qualification in Records, Information Management relevant field is mandatory.
