This is a Full Time Fixed Term position until 12 March 2027.
About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to assure the compliance of registered schools, school boarding premises and other school sector providers with the minimum standards for registration, including the Child Safe Standards. The VRQA regulates for quality learning outcomes, and you will play a key role in ensuring that students receive a quality education in safe, well governed environments.
The role contributes to the work of a professional, skilled and motivated team in a dynamic environment. A key aspect of the role involves developing relationships with stakeholders across the independent, Catholic and government school sectors, other regulators and government departments in Victoria and nationally. The roll will also liaise with the VRQA's panel of reviewers and financial health assessors.
The role will work alongside other members of the VRQA Schools Division to assess the compliance of schools with minimum standards as part of cyclical and out-of-cycle reviews, registration and new school sector providers and amendment to existing registration, and reapproval of CRICOS and non-school senior secondary and foundation secondary provider registrations.
Attributes
You are a driven, collaborative team player, have excellent written and spoken communications skills, and have experience in regulation, assurance compliance or legal fields.
