Senior Project Officer, Strategy, Engagement and Reporting
The Role
You will play a key role in the Commissioner's monitoring and compliance activities by engaging effectively with internal, government and industry stakeholders to produce industry insights and research, sophisticated analysis and advice that contributes to frameworks, strategies, plans, briefs, reports and online information.
You will successfully implement the recent reforms to the Local Jobs First Act 2003 which focused on strengthening the powers and functions of the Local Jobs First Commissioner.
The role requires experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and government to support the preparation of the Local Jobs First Commissioner's corporate and statutory reporting activities, including annual report, industry and stakeholder communications, website and social media along with operational administration of day-to-day issues including industry engagement plans and content.

The Team
The position of Senior Project Officer, Strategy, Engagement and Reporting forms a part of the Industry Development, Construction, Manufacturing and Talent branch within the Industry, Trade and Investment group.
The Industry, Trade and Investment (ITI) group works closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation and increase Victoria's international competitiveness. ITI champions Victoria as a destination of choice for trade and international investment, international education and innovation. ITI harnesses specialist knowledge of key industries and global markets to develop Victoria's priority sectors, boost trade activities, enhance productivity and contribute to economic growth.
About You
You have proven regulatory experience in managing complex projects, complemented by strong organisational and analytical skills, a strategic mindset and a track record of driving results. Outstanding stakeholder engagement abilities are essential, along with a capacity to analyse challenges, manage risks and provide sound advice underpinned by insights and evidence.
Your expertise will enhance the Local Jobs First Commissioner's high performing team to deliver measurable outcomes while your collaborative approach will foster innovation and shared success.
