The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Senior Project Officer, SaferSkills to join the Offender Services Reintegration division.

About the Business Unit
The Offender Services and Reintegration (OSR) division of Corrections Victoria delivers best practice interventions to reduce reoffending including case management, education and employment, prison industries and reintegration supports.
Within OSR, the Rehabilitation and Reintegration Branch (RRB) is responsible for programs across prisons and Community Correctional Services including transition and reintegration, parenting and family engagement, services for women, people with disability, family violence, and cultural programs.
RRB is leading the Men's SaferSkills Project - a gender-responsive training initiative designed to strengthen and support a skilled custodial workforce to improve reintegration outcomes through consistent application of best practice correctional approaches. The project is delivered by a team comprising a Senior Project Manager and two Senior Project Officers, working together to support statewide implementation
About the Role
The Senior Project Office role plays a key role in the delivery of the Men's SaferSkills Project, supporting the implementation of a gender-responsive training model across the Victorian prison system. This role focuses on coordinating operational activities, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring frontline readiness for training delivery.
Working closely with the Project Manager, prison sites, and relevant business units, the Senior Project Officer will ensure the project remains responsive and aligned with workforce reform objectives. The role is also responsible for embedding continuous feedback and supporting adaptive implementation based on operational needs and strategic outcomes.
