About the Division
The Business Services Division leads the provision of quality Academy corporate support services and functions (including procurement, risk management, performance reporting and evaluation, human resources and culture, finance, facilities management, information and audio-visual technology) which enable successful operation of the Academy. In addition, the Business Services Division is responsible for the oversight, delivery and reporting of the compliance and audit obligations required of a statutory authority.
About the Role
The Compliance, Procurement and Reporting unit provides strategic oversight, coordination and enterprise process of the Academy's compliance, risk, internal program governance, procurement and performance reporting. By maintaining robust frameworks aligned to Victorian Public Service standards and Department of Education policies, the Compliance, Procurement and Reporting team ensures all programs and services are delivered with quality, accountability and transparency.
The procurement team leverages the Department's Procurement Division resources, policies and strategy to ensure a strategic and quality management approach to the Academy's purchasing of goods and services. The team provides procurement expertise and capability building function for the Academy to drive innovation and value for money through a strategic approach across the life cycle of procurements and contract management.
As a Senior Project Officer, Procurement, you will provide expert procurement advice, manage procurement activities and lead the implementation of the procurement Lean Review findings. You will ensure procurement processes deliver value for money and comply with government requirements.
