About the role:
The Senior Project Officer in the Operations and Projects team will support and contribute to the delivery of statewide and community level prevention and health promotion policies and programs.
The Senior Project Officer will work to support internal and external stakeholders to deliver the many public health programs funded throughout the state of Victoria, and provide project support to other teams across the Branch. The role may also provide a range of contract and financial management services, including advice and analysis, interpretation and recommendation on budget management, forward planning, financial compliance and performance, trends and emerging issues.
To be successful in this role you will be a vibrant team player, who has project management skills and an understanding of current financial systems and practices, experience in contract management, an ability to take a strategic approach to challenges, and can build strong relationships to ensure effective collaboration and successfully deliver on the teams work priorities.
