Senior Project Officer (761437)
The Senior Project Officer will support the finance and procurement functions for SCV working with the Manager, Strategy and Operations to ensure SCV finances and procurement activities align with Department of Health finance and procurement guidelines. The role also develops and supports the implementation of efficient and effective processes as well as promotes roles and responsibilities to staff, to build financial and procurement capabilities across SCV. The role will also lead a range of strategy and operations activities which may include coordinating the annual plan and annual report, attestations to OVIC, overseeing SCV's audit and risk and functions as well as other corporate service tasks.
The Senior Project Officer will develop effective relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders, including across all Branches within Safer Care Victoria, strategically aligned policy and program areas of the Department of Health and Victorian health services. The Senior Project Officer will work collaboratively to support the monitoring and reporting of progress against a range of finance and procurement metrics and legislative requirements.
The role reports to the Manager, Strategy and Operations and will work closely with other team members to contribute to the work of the wider Governance, Strategy and Research branch and ensure the implementation and delivery against the SCV Strategic Plan.

The Senior Project Officer reports to the Manager, Strategy and Operations, providing a range of corporate services, including assisting with implementing systems and processes across SCV to manage projects, audit and risk, and freedom of information requests to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
The role involves, including reporting on priority projects, key deliverables, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with SCV's strategic priorities. The Senior Project Officer will also be responsible for developing SCV's strategic documents, coordinating annual attestations, overseeing SCV's PAEC contributions as well as coordinating a range of other corporate reporting activities including but not limited to governance, accommodation, information asset register.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated capability for systems thinking, audit and risk, and have a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. They will also have an ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence others.
