A fantastic opportunity is available in the dynamic and challenging area of drought and dry conditions across Victoria. This role will coordinate and oversee the development, project management, and delivery of significant water infrastructure projects across the state, led by Victorian water corporations.
The Senior Project Officer will play a key role in project governance processes and will work closely and establish effective working relationships with Victoria’s rural and urban water corporations, other sections of the Water and Catchments Group, various divisions within DEECA, and other government departments.
This role also offers the opportunity to help shape the future strategic priorities of the Rural Water Projects team and to engage with other elements of the team’s diverse work program, including intersections with the broader water sector.
The position is suited to a highly motivated, outcomes-driven individual who is able to form and maintain collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
