About the role:
Victoria Police is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Officer (Contract Manager) to lead the delivery and ongoing administration of the Police Assistance Line and Online Reporting contract. This is a one-year fixed term maternity leave backfill opportunity that ensures the Police Assistance Line is providing an exceptional service to the Vict6orian Community.
As the Project Officer (Contract Manger), you will oversee key project initiatives, ensure contractual compliance, drive performance improvements, and partner closely with the PAL/OLR Inspector to deliver high-quality, cost efficiencies, and strong project management aligning with Victoria Police organisational goals and objectives.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join PAL/OLR in this role reporting to the Superintendent you will assist Victoria Police to meet community and government expectations.
The PAL/OLR is a dedicated publicly available phone number for non-urgent reporting of specific crimes and events. These calls are answered and triaged by contact centre operators who are civilian employees, supported by police. Online Reporting provides the public with the ability to easily and securely create and submit online reports for specific incidents and crimes, without the public needing to attend a police station.
Your usual place of work will be within the Police Assistance Line located in Ballarat; however, you may be required to work at any other location (including the VPC) as required.
