About the Division
As a Division of the Academy, the Business Services Division leads the provision of quality Academy corporate support services and functions (including procurement, risk management, performance reporting and evaluation, human resources and culture, finance, facilities management, information and audio-visual technology) which enable successful operation of the Academy. In addition, the Business Services Division is responsible for the oversight, delivery and reporting of the compliance and audit obligations required of a statutory authority.
About the Role
The Compliance, Procurement and Reporting unit provides strategic oversight, coordination and enterprise process of the Academy's compliance, risk, internal program governance, procurement and performance reporting, including evaluation of the Academy's programs and performance. By maintaining robust frameworks aligned to Victorian Public Service standards and Department of Education policies, the Compliance, Procurement and Reporting team ensures all programs and services are delivered with quality, accountability and transparency.
The Compliance team is responsible for leading the Academy's compliance, audit, risk, enterprise initiatives and program governance oversight, maintaining alignment to the Victorian Public Sector standards and frameworks, Department policies, legislated requirements and evidence-based frameworks and methodologies.
The Senior Project Officer - Compliance leads the Academy's risk management function in addition to designing and delivering Academy-wide compliance-based initiatives and activities that support governance, planning and organisational performance reporting and improvement. This role works across Academy teams to embed consistent assurance practices and support strategic outcomes.
