THE ROLE
The role will report to the Manager, Procurement and Governance to deliver project support for the delivery of procurement and governance functions which maintain governance arrangements, support executive and program governance forums, and provide strategic advice on governance, procurement, risk and compliance to enable the success of the transformation. The role will require the delivery of written briefs, project plans and operational support to enable procurement functions are delivered with a client centered approach, within budget and are cost effective.
The position will be responsible for monitoring governance frameworks and ensuring stakeholder participation is enabled throughout the full life cycle of the project.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
(a) Undertaking research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
(b) Managing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
(c) Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.2
2. Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
3. Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
