About the role
The Senior Project Officer supports local content and industry development across Victoria’s current and future rolling stock projects. The role identifies opportunities to strengthen local manufacturing and supply chains, including import replacement, innovation and workforce development.
The role provides policy and project support for local content requirements under the Local Jobs First Act 2003, while building strong relationships with manufacturers, industry and government agencies. It also contributes to supply chain research and mapping, supports procurement of trains and trams, and helps improve processes to strengthen Victoria’s rolling stock industry and transport manufacturing capability.
