Help shape the future of Victoria’s water sector boards.
The Sector Governance Team is seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the delivery of board appointment processes for Victoria’s water sector entities. Working closely with the Project Manager, Board Appointments, the role contributes to the development of high quality board appointment recommendations to the Minister for Water, and helps ensure appointment processes are conducted with integrity, transparency and in accordance with government requirements.
The Senior Project Officer manages key relationships with applicants, advisory panel members, central agencies and sector stakeholders, while coordinating critical aspects of the appointment process including candidate assessments, due diligence checks, information management and ministerial correspondence and briefing.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to strong governance across Victoria’s water sector and support the appointment of diverse, skilled and effective public entity boards.

This is a fixed term position available until 31 October 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria hybrid work arrangements available.
