About the Branch/Group
The Regulator Innovation Branch leads the design and implementation of new and reformed regulatory functions, providing strategic policy advice, coordinating cross-government delivery, engaging stakeholders, and developing practical guidance and tools to support effective, consistent and sustainable regulatory outcomes.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Officer, you will lead complex regulatory reform projects from planning through to implementation, translating government policy into practical regulatory models, operating frameworks and delivery plans. You will manage project governance, risk, business cases and implementation strategies, ensuring reforms are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with government priorities.
Working collaboratively across government, regulators and industry, you will build strong stakeholder relationships, coordinate interdependent workstreams and provide strategic advice to support informed decision-making. Using sound judgement and strong project management skills, you will navigate complex issues, drive continuous improvement and contribute to effective, sustainable regulatory outcomes.
