The Infrastructure Division
The Infrastructure Division's primary focus is providing advice and project assurance to Government on the State's capital investments. This includes providing integrated policy, financial, commercial and technical advice on infrastructure project delivery throughout all phases of development and implementation. The Division has four groups that provide:
Infrastructure Strategy and Project Advisory
Through industry capability uplift, project assurance, and developing systemic reforms, we provide best practice infrastructure advice and strategies to achieve value for money for Victorians.
The position reports to the Director, Strategic Improvements, and will be a senior member of a three-person team that contribute to the management and delivery of the Digital Build policy, as well as delivery of training and initiatives that supports capability uplift across the infrastructure delivery workforce. Day to day work in this role involves project management, digital build policy development as required and leading work on varied training streams delivering these within budget requirements and adhering to procurement requirements. To succeed, the role involves collaborating with colleagues across DTF and the VPS. It involves comprehensive stakeholder engagement with both SME’s and potential training applicants and requires strong communication skills both orally and in writing. The ability to deliver the production of good quality, accurate written materials for other departments, Ministers and executives, often within short timeframes, is essential.
