THE ROLE
The Public Housing Maintenance Modernisation (PHMM) Program is a multi-year program within Homes Victoria's Asset Management Branch which aims to deliver improvements to current maintenance operations and processes. The PHMM Program objectives are to: 1) improve contractor performance, 2) uplift renter experience and 3) enhance process efficiency.
The program includes several projects and pilot initiatives which are co-designed with local advisory groups and direct engagement with renters to improve service delivery outcomes of our providers, including for responsive maintenance, security, grounds cleaning and gardening. Furthermore, the program scope includes a major technology enablement project which will deliver a new, digital, online ‘Maintenance Portal'. The portal will allow urgent and non-urgent maintenance requests and supporting photos to be submitted, for a Homes Victoria property, by renters, maintenance crews and DFFH staff. The technology solution will include integration between contractor work management systems and DFFH IT systems, to improve communication and visibility of work scheduling, progress and completion.
