THE ROLE
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work in the Housing Operational Policy team in the Housing Outcomes and Partnerships branch of Homes Victoria. The Housing Operational Policy team is responsible for providing advice and the development of sound operational housing policy by working closely with other Victorian departments and interjurisdictional colleagues to create comprehensive and well thought out policy positions.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Project Officer who will lead and contribute to important operational policy design work. This position is seeking a motivated and energetic person with skills in strategic thinking and an ability to work independently to manage and deliver on multiple work deliverables. A strong interest and ability to provide robust practical policy advice is essential for this role, along with a keen appetite for problem solving.
You will have the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge to develop and shape policies and practical solutions for a range of complex issues in the public housing system across Victoria. You will work within a dynamic environment that requires a capacity to understand the complexities of the public housing operational environment, have a love for problem solving, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
