As Senior Project Officer in the Policy, Planning and Performance branch, you will be contributing to DEECA’s strategic planning and performance framework to deliver a modern, agile, and fit-for-purpose performance reporting function, associated tools and monthly and quarterly performance reports for the department’s senior managers and executives.
This role requires candidates with an excellent working knowledge of how multi-disciplined organisations manage and measure organisational performance to demonstrate the achievement of outcomes, particularly in reference to the Departmental Performance Statement and Annual Report. The ability to create performance reports that provide insights on issues, trends, risks and opportunities across the department is essential. Experience in measuring organisational outcomes and using data to create reports that inform decision making is highly desirable, as is excellent written communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, with the flexibility to shift tasks and manage priorities to deliver other team outputs around strategic and operational planning and performance functions.

This is a fixed term position available until 19 February 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
