Senior Project Officer
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Officer who will make a strong impact by leading key contracting and provider engagement activities that support the integrity and performance of Victoria's Skills First training system.
The successful applicant will be a confident and outcome-focused professional with experience in contract or program management, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to interpret and apply policy and contract frameworks.

The Team
This position of Senior Project Officer forms a part of the Training Operations and Assurance branch, in the Skills and TAFE (S&T) group. Skills and TAFE (S&T) group focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations.
The Training Operations and Assurance (TOA) branch maintains and promote a quality training system through administration of VET Funding Contracts and grants, collaborating with providers so they understand and meet contractual and delivery expectations. Group-wide oversight of grants ensures alignment with Departmental requirements and development of best practice approaches to grants management.
