THE ROLE
The Senior Project Officer will work in a collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to social and affordable housing for Victorians. The role will require a dynamic, flexible candidate with experience in the residential property market, transactions, property valuations, residential construction and contract management. Responsibilities for this role include the acquisition of developments and property for the purposes of social and affordable housing, stakeholder management and negotiation of contracts including construction contracts. In addition, the role is responsible for management of projects, coordination of procurement processes, providing authoritative advice and reporting. Excellent skills in written communication, a strong attention to detail and the ability to create and maintain accurate records are all essential. An understanding of the Victorian Government Transaction Policy and Valuer General Victoria framework would be highly regarded.
