About the role:
Working within a team reporting to the Manager, Aged Care Policy this role will design, implement, coordinate and monitor a suite of programs that will support early intervention and hospital avoidance for older Victorians, the Senior Project Officer will contribute to the delivery of multiple and complex programs in relation to aged care, and the health and aged care reform interface.
The role is a great opportunity to demonstrate and build on the full set of public sector project management skills, including program design and implementation, collaborating and influencing across agencies, driving and reporting on performance, evaluation and managing financial and reputation risk. The role will include exposure to departmental, health service and Commonwealth stakeholders, and provide a good view of health system priorities and issues.

About you:
To be succesful in this role you require the following capabilities
Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in a field related to health, disability, data analysis, project management or public policy would be desirable.
Specialist Experience:
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in health or aged care sectors in Victoria and/or the Commonwealth would be advantageous.
